Everything you need to get the most out of tracking your pottery — from greenware to the finished, fired piece.

Everything is stored privately on your device. Your pieces, photos, and firing notes never leave your iPhone — there's no account to create, and nothing is uploaded to the developer or any third party.
Not yet. TaoApp currently keeps your work on a single device. Automatic iCloud sync across your devices is planned for a future update.
Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes your pieces, photos, and firing records along with it. If you want to keep your work, make sure your iPhone is included in a regular backup (see below) before deleting.
TaoApp's data is included whenever your iPhone itself is backed up — either through an iCloud Backup (Settings → [your name] → iCloud → iCloud Backup) or an encrypted backup to your computer. Restoring that backup to a device brings your pottery data back with it. There's no separate in-app backup step.
Each piece travels from Greenware → Trimmed → Bisqued → Glazed → Fired → Complete. Open a piece and advance it to the next stage as your work progresses — or use a Tray's Bulk Advance to move a whole batch forward at once.
Batch Capture is for speed — snap photos of several fresh pieces in a row, then name and tag them together afterward. Adding a single piece is best when you want to fill in full details right away.
